1.What Chamiko is

Chamiko is an online food-tracking tool: it lets you log what you eat, follow your calories and nutrients, and record your weight.

The service is currently free. Paid features may be added later; we will tell you in advance and will not change a period you have already paid for.

2.Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Give accurate details. An incorrect height, weight or age makes the calculation meaningless.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account.
• Accounts are personal, so do not share them.

4.Accuracy of the data

Some values in the database, particularly for prepared Georgian dishes, are computed from the composition of standard recipes rather than measured by laboratory analysis. Those entries are labelled as estimates.

Real values depend on the recipe, the ingredients and how the dish was cooked. We do not warrant that the data is complete or free of error.

If you spot a mistake, tell us at info@chamiko.ge. We review reports and correct the database.

5.Content you add

• You are responsible for the accuracy of foods and recipes you add.
• Do not add content you have no right to, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property.
• For foods you add to the shared database, you grant us a free, non-exclusive right to display and use them in the service for other users.
• We may remove or correct entries that are inaccurate, abusive or spam.

6.Acceptable use

When using the service, you must not:

• Bulk download, copy or automatically harvest (scrape) the food database without our written permission.
• Resell, redistribute or integrate the database, or a substantial part of it, into another service.
• Circumvent security measures, attempt to access another person's account, or overload the system.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of anyone's rights.

7.Intellectual property

The code, design, brand and food database, as a compiled and curated collection, belong to us and are protected by law.

An individual nutrition figure is a fact and belongs to no one; what is protected is the compilation, structure and contents of the database.

8.Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Temporary interruptions for maintenance are possible.

We may change or discontinue individual features. If we shut the service down entirely, we will give notice and an opportunity to export your data.

9.Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from use of the service, including dietary decisions taken in reliance on the database.

This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or to damage to life and health, and it does not restrict rights that Georgian consumer law grants you mandatorily.

10.Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from settings. How your data is deleted is described in the privacy policy.

We may suspend or delete an account for a material breach of these terms. Where possible we will give notice first.

11.Changes to these terms

If we make a material change we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.

12.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Georgia. In a dispute, let us first try to resolve it by negotiation; failing agreement, it will be heard by the courts of Georgia.
